UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Manchester's baseball team will square off against Washington and Jefferson in their opening contests at the 2012 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional, at Marietta College in Ohio.
Manchester is a seven seed going into the tournament, while Washington and Jefferson is seeded second.
Manchester (25-19, 14-11 HCAC) earned their Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament after winning the HCAC Tournament title as a four seed.
Washington & Jefferson (35-8, 21-3 PAC) earned an at-large bid to this year's tournament, their third trip in four years and are ranked 14th in the nation.
Joining Manchester and Washington & Jefferson in the tournament will be top-seeded and host site Marietta College, #3 Adrian, #4 St. John Fisher, #5 Westminster, #6 Wooster and #8 La Roche.
Manchester will face W&J starting at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
