WEST LAFAYETTE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Robert Marve threw for 307 yards and three touchdowns as Purdue rolled over Eastern Kentucky 48-6 Saturday in the season opener for both teams.
Marve got the start after first string quarterback Caleb TerBush was suspended from the game for a violation of team rules.
Akeem Shavers ran for 74 yards and a touchdown, and Bishop Dwenger grad safety Landon Feichter returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown for Purdue, who totaled 547 offensive yards in the game
