UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - North Side and New Haven notched big wins Friday night that affected the SAC and NHC boys basketball races.
Quilyn Howard-Upshaw hit for 21 points and Trevion Crews had a triple double with 18 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists as North Side upset SAC leader Bishop Luers 83-64.
Jaylon Smith had 22 points and James Blackmon, Jr. 21 for Luers.
V.J. Beachem had 25 points and Curtis Elwood 14 in leading New Haven to their 69-63 success at Columbia City, remaining a game off the pace of Homestead and Norwell in the NHC.
Derek Hinen had 20 points to top the Eagles.
