FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Northrop and Bishop Luers boys and Snider and Bishop Luers girls garnered opening day Summit Athletic Conference Holiday Tournament wins Wednesday.
Bryson Scott scored 28 points and Brenton Scott 14 as boys top seed Northrop got past South Side 68-62.
Eric Hairston's 15 points paced the Archers.
James Blackmon, Jr. had 25 points and Jaylon Smith 20 as Luers came from behind to best Dwenger 77-68.
The Saints were led by the 20 points of Mike Fiacable.
Akilah Sims popped in 20 points and Kari Barnes added 14 as defending girls champ Snider ousted Wayne 60-35.
Imani Moore's 15 topped the Generals
Brooke Ridley had 18 points and Jamesha Ridley and Miracle Woods 13 each as Luers roared past North Side 75-14, scoring the game's first 17 points and not allowing a single Redskins point in the third quarter.
