NOTRE DAME (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Notre Dame kicked off fall practice for the third season under head football coach Brian Kelly Saturday.

All eyes on the first day were on the quarterbacks, as the competition has begun to see which one of them, Andrew Hendrix, Everett Gholston, Tommy Rees, or Genner Kiel, emerges as the starter for the opener against Navy later this month.

And two Fort Wayne products, Bishop Dwenger grads tight end Tyler Eifert and wide receiver John Goodman, are both back after off season decisions to see how much they can help whoever is the starter at quarterback
