UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Lloy Ball, the former IPFW volleyball All American and 2008 Olympic Gold medalist, says he will retire from competitive volleyball at the close of his current season in Russia.
Ball says it is the health of his knee, his desire for more time with his family, and that he is just tired as to why the career move.
Ball calls it the toughest decision of his life.
