UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - With neither Penn State or Ohio State eligible to compete for the Big Ten Leaders Division title, Purdue has emerged as a darkhorse behind heavily favored Wisconsin this fall in football.
Coach Danny Hope says his team will play it smarter this year, and quarterback Caleb Terbush feels with a year under his belt he will be able to better lead a more effective offense.
And with veteran stars like Kawann Short and Ricardo Allen returning on defense, Purdue feels at least like a team that will play in a bowl game.
