INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Colts have announced they are cutting future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.
Manning said, "Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. I truly have enjoyed being your quarterback."
Manning will be made a free agent and intends to continue to play.
Manning holds every career record for a quarterback for the Colts.
Colts owner Jim Irsay says the #18 will never be worn by a Colt on the field again.
Manning has been throwing and reports say his arm strength has improved since the last of three neck surgeries.
