Smith Leads Women's City Golf After Round One

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Four time champ Michelle Smith takes a three shot lead to the second day of the 54 hole Fort Wayne Women's City Golf Tournament at Brookwood.

Smith was the only player to break par with her three under 70 on Saturday.

A trio of golfers, Sara Mess, Allison Curtis, and Amber Sieber are tied for second at even par 73.

It is a shot further back to Lauren Biedak and Karley Dobis at 74.

The only other former champ in the field, Lori Stinson, is tied with Hillary Bowman another shot further back at 75.

J.J. Shim is the leader in the 36 hole Senior Division at 81.
