FORT WAYNE (indiana's NewsCenter) - Snider's boys, led by sprinter Kendal Frederick, and Northrop's girls, paced by hurdler Demtra Taylor, were the team winners at Tuesday night's Summit Athletic Conference track meet at Northrop's Spuller Stadium.
Frederick was the star of the night winning the 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes, as well as running a leg on the Panthers' 4x400 relay team.
Eric Godfrey took both the shot put and discus, and Mitchell Dutton was also a double winner in the 800 and 1600 meter runs for Snider, who rolled to the team win with 184.66 points with North Side second at 82.50 and Bishop Dwenger third at 78.
Young swept both girls hurdles events, and Northrop added Sidra Sherrill's win in the shot put and second in the discus to their winning total of 180 points to Snider's second place 137 and Concordia's third place 65
