FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive( - The West Michigan Whitecaps belted four home runs en route to handing the TinCaps their eighth straight loss Saturday night 5-4, with 7,327 looking on at Parkview Field.

Adam Schotts led off the game with the first of the four West Michigan homers, but the TinCaps responded with three in the bottom half of the inning on a run scoring double by Jake Bauers and a two run homer by Adolfo Reina.

But all of that was undone in the fourth when Willie Adames launched a three run homer to put West Michigan back in front at 4-3 and two batters later, Joae Zambrano unloaded a sol blast over the right field wall to extend the lead to 5-3.

Both homers came off losing pitcher Erik Cabrera.

The three game series wraps up Sunday at 1pm.
