TinCaps Rally Past Peoria

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Light hitting Alberth Martinez had a pair of run scoring singles, including the one that snapped a 5-5 tie and lifted the TinCaps to a 6-5 win over the Peoria Chiefs Saturday night.

Martinez's hit in the sixth inning drove home Corey Adamson with the eventual winning run.

The Caps tied a franchise record with seven doubles in the game.

Johnny Barbato got the win in relief.

The two teams meet again Sunday afternoon.
