TinCaps Whip Great Lakes; Learn First Round Playoff Opponent (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (21 Alive) - Reynaldo Bruguera had two hits and drove in two runs as the TinCaps bounced the Great Lakes Loons 6-1 Sunday night.

Mallex Smith stole two more bases, raising his season total to 64, one short of the Fort Wayne franchise record.

Colin Rea threw six innings of two hit shutout ball to raise his record to 2-1.

About a half hour before the game, the TinCaps learned that Bowling Green, by virtue of their win earlier in the day, would be their first round Midwest League playoff opponent, starting at Bowling Green Wednesday night.
