FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Edinson Rincon had three hits and drove in three runs as the TinCaps outlasted the West Michigan Whitecaps 11-8 Monday in the 2010 regular season finale, going over the 400,000 mark in regular season attendance for the first time in franchise history.
The crowd of 5,121 put the total for the year in 70 games at 404,942.
Dean Anna had three more of the TinCaps' 16 hits, and Danny Payne drove in two runs, while Jonathan Galvez contributed a solo homer.
The Midwest League playoffs begin Wednesday night, and Matt Lollis will start on the mound for the TinCaps in the opener of the best of three series with Great Lakes.
