KANSAS CITY (www.incnow.tv) - Saint Francis has finished No. 6 in the NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 Postseason poll.
USF, which has been ranked in 167 consecutive NAIA Top 25 polls and holds the longest current streak of rankings, advanced to the NAIA Football Championship Series quarterfinals for the 11th time in 15 seasons before losing at eventual NAIA FCS champion and No. 1 Marian 45-34 on Nov. 24 in Indianapolis.
The Cougars finished 9-3, with two of the losses to Marian.
This is the 140th ranking out of the 167 consecutive rankings that USF has been ranked in the Top 10 of the Top 25.
USF Head Coach Kevin Donley closed his 15th campaign and 34th for his career with 263 total wins and holds the NAIA record for victories.
He has won 149 games at USF, and is 263-119-1 for his career, 149-34 at USF.
