Wedge Baseball Camp Draws 400 iIn Seventh Renewal

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Seattle Mariners manager and Fort Wayne native Eric Wedge hosted his seventh baseball camp Saturday at Ash Centre.

About 400 kids in three age groups took part in the instruction from high coaches, and college coaches and players, with Wedge moving from station to station offering advice and tips of his own.

Wedge says the local help he gets is vital to the operation of the camp, and says he hopes to keep putting it on for many years.
