INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Point guard Terrell Holloway told The
Cincinnati Enquirer for an online story Wednesday that he would attend
Xavier next season after originally signing to play for Indiana.
The 6-foot point guard was one of Indiana's top two recruits but
had the school include an out clause in his letter of intent in
case there was a coaching change.
Coach Kelvin Sampson resigned in February amid a phone-call
scandal and was replaced by interim coach Dan Dakich. Tom Crean was
hired as the long-term replacement last week after Holloway had
already been granted the release.
Holloway, a New York native, attended Harmony Community School
in Cincinnati.
