(Fort Wayne) - He had come to Fort Wayne in late July to scout a high school camp, but Monday's appearance at a benefit for IPFW men's basketball was Tom Crean's first with a fan group in Fort Wayne since he became Indiana men's basketball cioach in April.
Crean told Indiana's NewsCenter he is prepared for the start from the bottom approach the program faces in his first year, and that he is looking forward to when player workouts can begin in early September,
Crean also said two spots on his first team could be filled from a tryout camp in a few weeks.
