Talented Freshman Pryor Could Play In Buckeye's Opener

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Coach Jim Tressel said today that he hopes
to get playing time for all three Buckeye quarterbacks in
Saturday's game against Youngstown State.
That means fans should get a chance to watch backup Terrelle
Pryor in action. He was the top quarterback recruit in the country
last winter and is listed as No. 3 on the depth chart behind
starter Todd Boeckman and Joe Bauserman.
Tressel says Pryor has been a little nervous but has done an
excellent job of learning the playbook.
Make no mistake about it, Boeckman is the starting quarterback
-- although when Ohio State had an open-to-the-public practice at
Ohio Stadium last week, the buzz in the crowd was about Pryor --
not 1,600-yard rusher Chris Wells, Butkus award-winning linebacker
James Laurinaitis or Boeckman.
