IU To Name New A.D. Tuesday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Indiana University president Michael
McRobbie has scheduled a news conference Tuesday to make a major
announcement involving the administration of the school's athletic
department amid speculation he will name a new athletic director.
Current athletic director Rick Greenspan announced on June 26
that he would step down from the position at the end of the year.
That was the same day IU released a letter from the NCAA alleging
that the athletic department had failed to properly monitor the
men's basketball program.
