INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Jeff Robinson says he will not play
basketball for Purdue this upcoming season because of poor grades.
Robinson told the Indianapolis Star on Friday he was not
admitted to the school because he struggled academically his senior
year at Lawrence North.
Purdue coach Matt Painter said "has unbelievable potential"
when he signed a letter of intent in November. But the forward
averaged just 3.5 points as a senior and rarely played.
Robinson says he plans to play somewhere else next season, but
hasnt decided where. He says he is considering Wabash Valley
