O-Lineman Picks Hoosiers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Offensive lineman Marlandez Harris of
Illinois Class 6A champion Sacred Heart-Griffin High School has
made an oral commitment to play football at Indiana.
The 6-foot-3, 265-pound Harris tells The Herald-Times he chose
the Hoosiers over offers from other schools including Purdue and
Louisville.
Ken Leonard, his coach at the Springfield, Ill., school, says
Harris canceled visits to other colleges after he attended a
one-day camp at Indiana last week
