FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - St. Francis running back Daniel Carter will sit out the Cougars' final regular season at Taylor Saturday with an injured hamstring.
Carter pulled up limping while headed for an apparent touchdown in the first quarter of last Saturday's 36-24 loss to St. Xavier. He left the game and did not return.
The exact diagnosis is a strained hamstring.
It is not known if Carter, USF's all time rushing leader, will be available for any postseason games.
