Trine finds out where its headed for playoffs

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA released the pairings for the 2009 Division III Football playoffs today. Trine University will open with Case Western Reserve in the first round. The Spartans will host Trine Saturday in a Noon kickoff in eastern Cleveland, Ohio.

Ninth-ranked Case Western is 10-0 and is the University Athletic Association champion.

Trine captured its second-consecutive playoff berth by winning the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association with a 6-0 record. The Thunder finished 9-1 overall.
