St. Francis Wins Way Into NAIA National Championship Game

POINT LOOKOUT, MISSOURI (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Qadr Owens led the way with 25 points and the St. Francis Cougars advanced to the championship game of the NAIA Division II men's basketball tournament Monday night with a 77-73 win over defending champion Oklahoma Wesleyan.

DeJovaun Sawyer-Davis added 17 and Matt Edmonds 14 as the 15th seeded Cougars won the right to play top seeded Walsh in the championship game Tuesday night.

St. Francis beat Walsh 86-75 at Hutzell Center back on December 18th, one of just two losses suffered by the Cavs this season.
