EUGENE, OREGON (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Leo native and Indiana University runner Andy Bayer advanced on Friday to the finals of the men's 1,500 meters at the U.S. Olympic Track Trials
Bayer was sixth in his heat in the 1500 semifinals in a time of 3:42.56, a time that would've won the other semifinal, and he had the fastest non-automatic advancing time.
Bayer, the reigning NCAA champion will run in the final at 4:37 p.m. ET on Sunday.
