WEST LAFAYETTE (www.incnow.tv) - Cincinnati head football coach Butch Jones flew to West Lafayette Sunday to interview for the vacant Purdue head coach job.
Jones met with Purdue officials for most of the late morning and early afternoon before flying back to Ohio.
Gold and Black.com reported that Purdue was ready to offer Jones a deal worth $2.5 million a year with a $2 million a year budget for staff.
He makes $1.6 million at Cincinnati.
Jones was reportedly flying to Colorado Monday to talk about their vacant football job.
