UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - IPFW men's basketball and women's volleyball notched big wins on the road Friday night.
Frank Gaines poured in 30 points while Mario Hines added 17 points and 13 rebounds as the basketball Dons won in triple overtime over Texas-Pan American 97-94 at the Ice Man Classic at Eastern Michigan University Friday night.
The Lady Volleydons bounced back from an 0-2 deficit to top Oakland 3-2 in the semifinals of the Summit League women's volleyball tournament at Fargo, North Dakota.
Emily Spencer led the IPFW attack with 24 kills.
Second seeded IPFW plays top seed IUPUI for the title Saturday night.
