Indiana State Upsets Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame had been 48 - 0 in November since Mike Brey became the team's head coach, but that streak ended when Indiana State surprised the 21 st - ranked Fighting Irish 83 - 70 Sunday in South Bend. The Sycamores improved to 2 - 1 while the Irish dropped to 2 - 1.

Five Indiana State players scored in double figures, led by Justin Gant's 17 points and Khristian Smith's 15. Manny Arop chipped in 13 while Jake Odum and Devonte Brown each added 10.

Notre Dame was led by Eric Atkins' 18 points while Jerian Grant added 17 and Pat Connaughton 16.
