NOTRE DAME, IN (21 Alive) - Tommy Rees tossed two touchdown passes before exiting with an undisclosed injury as Notre Dame won for the first time in their last five home meetings with USC 14-10 Saturday night.

Rees had scoring throws to Tory Niklas and TJ Jones in the first half, but left in the third quarter after being sacked and did not play again.

Bishop Luers grad Jaylon Smith had a third quarter interception, the first of his Notre Dame career that blunted a USC scoring drive.
