ANN ARBOR, Mich. (www.incnow.tv) - A senior night loss to Ohio State Tuesday kept Indiana from winning the Big Ten Championship outright for the first time since 1993.
While the Hoosiers still cut down the nets in front of their Assembly Hall crowd, IU still has an opportunity to be lone conference champion if they beat No. 7 Michigan on Sunday.
The Wolverines still have title aspirations of their own. After surviving an improved Purdue team in the closing seconds Wednesday, Michigan can also take a share of the Big Ten title with a senior day win of their own.
Also on the line is seeding for the Big Ten Championship tournament. The winner of this game gets a first round bye next week.
The IU-Michigan match-up could also have heavy implications on NCAA Tournament seeding.
The Hoosiers and Wolverines tip Sunday at 4 p.m.
