Freshman Gary Harris scored a season - high 22 points, and the 18 th - ranked Spartans used a 28 - 7 run in the second half to pull away to an 84 - 61 victory over Purdue.
The Spartans are now 12 - 3, 1 - 1 in the Big Ten. A.J. Hammons scored 20 points for Purdue as the Boilermakers fell to 7 - 7, 1 - 1 in conference play.
