ND Football Players Could See Position Changes

August 7, 2010 Updated Aug 7, 2010 at 10:49 PM EDT

(Indiana's NewsCenter) After two players leave for different reasons, two holes are left to be filled in the secondary.

Freshmen CB Spencer Boyd transferred closer to home over the summer. He is now attending South Florida. Another freshmen defensive back, Chris Badger, chose to do his two-year Mormon mission trip and has left for Ecuador.

But with the departure of these two players Head Coach Brian Kelly is left to find bodies to play defense.

He wouldn't specify who they were evaluating to make the position change, but did say he is letting them move into their rooms before throwing more on the kids plate.

"If I move their position they may not show up." Kelly said with a laugh. "We'll wait till I get a chance to meet with them."
