Notre Dame Women Cruise In NCAA Tournament Opener

NOTRE DAME (Indiana's NewsCenter) - NCAA women's tournament Raleigh Regional top seed Notre Dame scored the game's first eleven points and went on to trounce 16th seed Liberty 74=43 Sunday in an opening round game.

Kayla McBride topped the Irish with 15 points as Notre Dame won the right to play eighth seed California in second round action Tuesday night.
