Purdue Ends Non Conference Play With Impressive Road Win

MORGANTOWN, WV. (21 Alive) - Terone Johnson tallied 20 points as Purdue built a second half lead before holding on for a 73-70 win at West Virginia in the Boilermakers' final game before the start of Big Ten play.

Ronnie Johnson added 14, Basil Smotherman ten, and all three hit big shots in the second half when the Mountaineers rallied.

Purdue, now 10-4, hosts Ohio State to start the Big Ten season on New Year's Eve.
