WEST LAFAYETTE (www.incnow.tv) - Terone Johnson scored 16 of his game-high 24 points in the second half to lead Purdue's 70-61 win over Montevallo Tuesday night in the Boilermakers' exhibition opener.
Anthony Johnson scored a dozen in the Purdue win, while Ronnie Johnson netted 11 with a game high six assists in his college debut.
Purdue also worked its way to a 32-14 advantage in the paint behind a combined 15 points from Donnie Hale chipped in eight points and freshman center A.J. Hammons seven.
Fort Wayne's Rapheal Davis debuted as a Boilermaker with four points.
