YPSILANTI, MICHIGAN (www.incnow.tv) - Eastern Michigan rallied in the second half for a 47-44 upset win over Purdue on Saturday.
Derek Thompson scored eight points and Snider grad J.R. Sims added seven for the Eagles, who got out to a nine point lead in the second half before Purdue rallied near the end.
A basket late by Ronnie Johnson brought the Boilermakers within two, but Terone Johnson, who led Purdue with twelve points, missed a possible go ahead three pointer. amnd Purdue then turned the ball over with eight second left trying to set up a game tying three.
