SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA (www.incnow.tv) - IPFW could follow up its double overtime win over Western Illinois Sunday, and Monday fell to defending champ South Dakota State 86-59 in the semifinals of the Summit League Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.
The Mastodons finish the season with an overall record of 13-17.
Erin Murphy led IPFW with 18 points and Amanda Hyde added 15, including the one thousandth of her college career.
The deciding factor between IPFW and South Dakota State was the points in the paint category won by South Dakota State 58-16.
Ashley Eide led the victorious Lady Jackrabbits, who will meet South Dakota in the tournament championship game Tuesday.
