SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A late rally fell short for IPFW Monday, and the Lady Dons were knocked out of the Summit League women's basketball tournament by South Dakota State 70-67.
A 10-0 run cut an eleven point SDSU lead to one in the final minutes, and the Jackrabbits led by three when Jordan Zuppe threw up a desperation three point shot at the buzzer that hit off the back of the rim and stayed out.
Six three pointers by Kristin Rottert of South Dakota State gave her the 24 points that led all scorers.
Stephanie Rosado had 16 and Anne Boese 12 for the Lady Dons, who finish at 20-10.
