FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) – Indiana Tech began a key conference baseball series against Madonna with a split of a doubleheader on Saturday.
The Crusaders downed the Warriors 7-0 in the opener before Tech bounced back with an 11-2 victory in the nightcap.
Indiana Tech maintained its one game lead in the WHAC standings over Madonna and Davenport University with the split and moved its record to 31-17 overall and 16-6 in the conference. The Crusaders currently sit at 31-16 and 15-7 in league play.
