FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Nearly nine months after they were first discussed, lights have gone up at Bishop John D'Arcy Stadium at the University of Saint Francis.
The cost of $200,000 was put up by an unnamed donor.
The four stands of lights were erected Friday and Saturday, and while USF will play their homecoming game September 22nd against Concordia at night underneath them, night games will not become the rule with the Cougars.
Rather, the lights' prime use will be to allow USF teams to practice away from class time, and not just football but all Cougar teams.
