Canterbury Tops Dwenger For Regional Tennis Title

(Fort Wayne) - Canterbury yielded a point in number one singles to Bishop Dwenger, then won the rest of the matches to post a 4-1 win over the Saints and take the Homestead girls regional tennis title Wednesday.
Ashlyn Rang won the one singles slot for the Saints, but then Anna Rao and Caitlin Sullivan took the other two singles, and Courtney Scott and Caroline Wright, and Rachel Horton and Chloe Hoffacker added the doubles wins.
Canterbury advances to the Concordia semistate on Saturday.
