2014 High School Football Preview: Leo Lions

LEO-CEDARVILLE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Leo High School football team enters its final season in the Allen County Athletic Conference where its been the past five seasons: on top.

The Lions look to make it ACAC title No. 6 under head coach Jared Sauder.

Leo has a high-powered offense led by running back Logan Leiter and quarterback Jordan Hissong. The two combined for 31 rushing touchdowns in a 10-1 2013, The offensive line has practically been rebuilt, but Leo expects to still put up big numbers.

Defensively, the Lions are solid, returning most of the linebackers and secondary. The defensive line will find new faces in new places, but will come along under the direction of the older players.

Leo win the entire regular season undefeated last year, losing a heartbreaker 10-7 against East Noble in the second round of sectionals. This year's Lions have sights of moving further in November.
