Blackhawk Girls, Lakeside Boys Middle School Basketball Champs

(Fort Wayne) - Meredith Shipman showd the way with 15 points as Blackhawk annexed the Fort Wayne middle school city girls basketball title Wednesday with a 40-22 win over Miami at Elmhurst High School.

The boys title was won by Lakeside over Miami 55-47, as C.J. Jackson hit a game high 21 points for the winners.
