Bellmont Wrestling Regional Title Streak Snapped at 16

MONROE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Third ranked Yorktown Wednesday night ended Bellmont's run of 16 straight team wresting regional titles when they beat the 12th rated Braves 30-24 at the Adams Central Regional.

Yorktown's win over Bellmont in the semifinals was followed up by their 46-19 win in the finals over Whitko, which beat Homestead 39-27 in the other semifinal.

Yorktown's title win sends them to the team state finals in Greenwood on February 27th.
