Carroll Edges East Noble in Girls Sectional; Rest of Games Snowed Out

KENDALLVILLE (Indiana's Newscenter) - Beth Howard tossed in 21 points as Carroll came back to beat East Noble 60-56 Wednesday night in the snow-delayed opening game of the 4A East Noble girls basketball sectional.

Ciera Geiger added eleven points and Megan Reader ten for the Chargers, while Courtney Bolen had 21 and Ashlie Placencia 18 for the Knights.

Carroll advanced to Friday's semifinal against Snider.

All other games set for Wednesday night were postponed by snow, and finals in all area sectionals except East Noble have now been pushed back to Monday night.
