FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- One of the several talented guards that helped shoot Northrop to an SAC tournament title last week, 6-1 senior Jason Jordan, gets the call as Indiana's NewsCenter boys basketball player of the week.
In what will be his only year at Northrop after transferring from Canterbury, Jason has worked to fit in with the Bruins.
He had a great SAC tournament games of 23, 21, and 25 points in the three Northrop wins, shooting over 62 per cent in the process.
You tend to fit in with those numbers and that's what Jason wants.
Jason's scoring in the tournament elevated his average to 15 points a game, and his hot shooting is a marked improvement from early in the season.
He does not have the most orthodox shot.
The SAC tournament title satisfies one of Jason’s big goals for this season, and now he goes after some others, like an SAC title and a deep tournament run.
