Brown Begins Task Of Rebuilding Wayne Football

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Robert Brown Tuesday enjoyed his first official day as Wayne's new head football coach.

Brown, whose appointment was okayed by the Fort Wayne Community School Board Monday night, has mixed in conditioning and seven on seven drills, mostly by himself with the hiring of his assistants still not through the school board screening process.

Brown is a former Harding and Indiana University linebacker who is in his first high school head coaching job.

He has been a Snider assistant and the head coach at Jefferson Middle School.
