MUNCIE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Bishop Dwenger won its fifth all time girls state gymnastics title Saturday and in the process broke Valparaiso's four year hold on the title.
The Saints won with a 112.55 score, with Valparaiso next at 111.975.
Homestead was seventh among the eight teams in the team competition with a 104.425 score.
Dwenger was led by a third place all around finish, a second place floor finish and a third place bars finish from sophomore Katy Linvil, as well as a second on the vault from senior Brittany Trahin.
Angola's Alex Nickel won the bars and beam and was second in the all around.
