Dwenger Second At State Gym Meet

MUNCIE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Valparaiso escaped with a narrow win over Bishop Dwenger Saturday at the state gymnastics meet at Ball State.

The Vikings scores a 111.850 to the Saints' 111.225.

Carroll was sixth with a 105.275 score.

Dwenger's effort was led by Alexis Eddy with a second on the floor and a third on the beam.

Top northeast Indiana performer, though, was Alex Nickel of Angola, who won the beam, was third on the floor, third in the all around, and the Mental Attitude Award winner
